Talking Can I N/A my turbo?

My 1988 944 Turbo S is FAR too fast... I mean, boost hits, and all of the sudden, i'm pulled over... I was wondering if I was able to N/A my turbo to save my driving record...

Kidding

I'd bet it's cheaper to sell the Turbo and buy an N/A. BTW, did you do a search?

Well, yeah, to make it a TRUE N/A, I'd have to downgrade the brakes, suspension, rip off that ugly underwing, take out the intercooler, etc. etc. and that'd be expensive... I was thinking of Half-assing it...

Anyway, I did a search, and the only thing that turned up was people wanting to do the opposite...

Putting a Manual Boost Controller on the car and turning the boost off would be pretty close.

Imagine all the weight you'd save without all that junk!

I'd like a Vette hybrid with a 951S motor in a C5.

This subject has been beaten to death. You must be a noob. Haven't you ever seen the poster Porsche put out back in the 1980s about this?
