My 3" pipes coming from each bank of the motor are rumbling at about 40 dB's at idle as we speak waiting to hit 103 dB at 5500 RPM. muhaha..

Of course you can. Just do what this guy did. Take off the turbo and leave it at the local salvage yard. Then, all you need to do is cover up those annoying openings that used to pass that obnoxious gas....

What altitude do you live at, Geoff? I've heard that the difference between turbocharged and NA power is amplified at high altitude, when NAs can't get enough air and boosted cars get all the air they need. I bet turbocharging your car or deboosting your dads car would make a huge difference.
