spend the money. get new ones.

What are you hoping to save buying used ones, five bucks, maybe ten?

Why do you need these? Did you do a 968 handle swap? Just curious...

You're buying new ones because...the old ones are just that - old. And worn. So buying another used set is a waste of time. If you're putting in a wear item like this, I reccomend going new. It'll be $75 bucks after shipping, but they'll work, work right, and work right for a long time. But, to each his own.

If that's the case, then, I would tend to agree... you never know what condition the "new" used ones will be & you're going through all the effort, etc... well, if you could be sure on the condition of the used ones, then maybe... I was asking if it was for 968 handle conversion b/c of the way it fits the backside of the handle- the 968 is thicker back there so the 944 part wont go- you can dremel one small part of the 968 handle, though, & save the money & effort of replacing that part- can give more detail if neccessary, but if it's not for the 968 handles, then my input doesn't much matter...

I have one for the passenger side if you want it. I'll sell it for 11 bucks. That includes shipping. Your local Porsche dealer will sell you one for a bit over 25 bucks. These went on every 944/911/928 of the era. They are not rare.

I got mine from the company out of chicago that sells them on ebay all the time (don't remember the name). They aren't hard to change out and they're 24.99 if you call them. This is a plastic linkage that breaks in the door, so I'd go new on those.
