Hmm... it's plastic, maybe it's supposed to be clear? mine appeared white. It's about 1-2 inches long. pops on the ball on each end.. it's the lever that the key turns and pushes down (or pulls up)

Devon- most people when changing out for 968 handles or just a parts change to fix the older handles, or whatever, will re-use these. Unfortunately, they will often wear out if removed & replaced too many times as the little holes get slightly larger each time. I dropped mine several times down into the door... are you sure your's are not down in the bottom somewhere? IF you remove that little vent piece down low on the backside of the door, you should be able to shine a light in there & possibly see... Otherwise, might be good to order a few of them, along w/those pieces that control the heater (to keep it from constantly staying on) at the same time Damn- I meant to order some of those clips from Sunset the other day, actually...

I haven't really seen these arms for sale anyway, any idea what they are called? I tried to pop it on and half the joint that grips the ball broke off, so it's done.

I just checked Keith Foster's 968 handle install & he just refers to it as the "plastic arm"- he might have an actual name for it somewhere in there but I did not read the entire thing- just read under the picture he has where you can actually see it... you might try reading through the install &/or just e-mailing him as he may know... otherwise, Jeff at Sunset is a good guess... not sure what its actually called, but there has to be some name for it or at least # as it's been in use for all 924/944/968 series cars w/central locking (& possibly non-central locking) cars. Here's a link to his 968 handle site- hope this helps:

WAit a second... how could those be seperate right & left part #'s...? I thought they were identical...? Oh well, if it is them, I could use some new ones as I'm still trying to get my locks cycling correctly w/my 968 handles....
