Default Wife driving the car......

Just let my wife drive 944T to class. Who here lets their wives drive their 944/951s? Nervous on how she might bring the car back . She actually a pretty good driver, after some intense teaching.

I am in the process of teaching my fiance how to drive a stick. The weapon of choice is the 951 and once we are married she will have free rain there. I think it ads some fun to the relationship if both people enjoy stuff like that.

You'll never see your car again! lol Just kidding. I let my wife drive the S2 once, I must have aged 3 years in 15 min. and I was in the car with her.

My wife took mine out last summer. When she brought it back she said she doesn't want to drive it again. She was so nervous that something was going to happen to it she doesn't want to drive it any more.

My dad only let my mom drive his 944 when he gave it to her as a hand-me-down and got the 928 for himself. He never lets her drive the 928. I let my parents drive my 944 if they need/want to, but they aren't supposed to even breathe on my 968.

My wife won't go near the 968, even though she can drive stick...something about me having a meltdown if something happened to it...

If she likes the car, future purchases will be easier

My wife drove the 968 before the cage and race bucket. She's quite a bit shorter than I and really needed the seat that raised up.

Before that, she drove the 944 quite a bit. Even did "carpool" duty with the kids in it frequently.

Personally, I would let the wife drive ANYTHING I have. She's a good driver, handy with a manual transmission, and get's ever so slightly more supportive of my car indulgence by driving them.

Oh, and a woman in a skirt in heels driving a manual transmission... C'mon, is there anything sexier than that!

Well i let my girlfriend of 2 and some years drive the 924S, and to tell you the truth i'm not as much worried about that, but rather all my friends bugging me 24/7 to drive it. once and a while i'll let them drive it with me in it, but they all suck at stick. my little 17 year old girlfriend is much better than them. haha wow i always forget but she's 2 years younger than me...?!

My wife hates the car, so I don't have to worry about her driving it!

My wife is a certified national DE instructor. Now drives her own GT3. Women can be better drivers than men. Finesse and smoothness comes naturally to them.

Mine has free reign to drive it whenever she likes but she's so short waisted that she has a hard time seeing over the dash, in fact she doesn't even like riding in the passenger seat b/c she can't see. Gotta look into a better solution than the pillow I keep in there for her right now!

I let my girlfriend drive the S2 in the parking lot once. I wasn't too worried as the clutch was almost dead anyways. Sometimes I trade cars with my friends for the day, but I make sure their insurance covers them whenever they drive any vehicle.

I wish my fiancee would drive any of my cars.
