935/RUF Mirror test-fit pics
I removed the 968 CS mirror on the driver's side today and did a quick test fit of the 935/RUF driver's side mirror with double-sided tape. Visibility is decreased as expected, but with some time spent I could get acclimated to it. They are about 1/3 of the weight of the CS mirrors.
I don't know if I like the look or not. Thoughts? Opinions?
I think they might look better in body color, the black may stand out too much.
If I end up ditching them, Icat gets first dibs.
Pardon the filthy car, I've been doing a lot of work on it in the garage lately and it is rather filthy, hasn't been washed in months because it hardly gets driven to get out to get washed......

I think it looks pretty cool, but I don't know if I would like the decreased visibility. My S6 has a "Nemo" passenger side mirror and I wish it were full sized.

I like them. I'd been waiting for you to put them on. If I were in your position I would match the mirrors. But on my car I would keep them black to go with my theme.............. Oh, where can I get some?!

Thanks for the opinions, I appreciate them. Manning, I agree they aren't a simple bolt-on, that's why I am debating about this. Welding up the holes in the door when I have the car painted is an extra expense with a "no turning back now" caveat.
OK, a quick P-chop to make the mirror red and the matching one on the other side....

Sorry, Icat has dibs on the 935 mirrors and Kevin has dibs on the 968 mirrors. Someone beat you to the carcass. (obligatory lame vulture reference ).

Personally I think you should go body colour. The 951 Cup mirrors look good in black, but these seem to flow better if they are the body colour.
