Default 215 on my 924?

i have 205's all around on my 88 924 S, it has phone dials, can i squeeze 215's on? would i have to change the sidewall if i could??

ive run 225 on the rear of our 87 924s and it didnt rub at all. IM sure actually other people have run wider than that w/o rubbing issues.

ive also run 225/50/15's victoracers all the way around before in it and it only rubbed the front arm alittle at full lock turn w/ 7" phones on it.

225 is considered as large as you can go on a 7" rim

If the phone dials are the stock 924S 6" wide ones dont try to put 215's on it. I did that and they looked like donuts because the tire was so much wider than the rim.

yes 225/50's on my 7" phone dials...i raced on them on my 89 944 but they bolted right up on the 924s and we raced it with them several times. I was just saying you have plenty of room up in there for tire. Get some 7" late phones and run some 215's no problem. Most late rims will fit on there though if not too wide like d90's 7/8's and phones 15 & 16"
