very nice...slightly OT, but I've always thought a similar vintage 540i would make a great dd in addition to a 951...

Hey that's what I want as my beater.

Only problem is I barely use my car as it is (I have a 5 minute commute to work) so spending $30k+ on a second car doesn't make sense.

Actually I'm waiting to see what the new 3-series coupe looks like - if I like it I might be forced to plan for a future purchase.
