Default "Porsche Experience" -- anyone get this??

Hey I've been getting Porsche Experience in the mail the past few seasons (is a seasonal publication). All it really is is an advertisement mailer from Porsche, with articles about new products.

Anyway, there is a coupon in this edition for a "FREE COMPREHESIVE INSPECTION" of your Porsche vehicle.

This is a complete inspection of your Porsche vehicle conducted by Porsche trained technicians who will note any issues requiring further attention.

No stipulation on model or year. I'm evil, I know. I just want to see their faces when they pop the hood. "Hans! Comenzi-here bitte, schnelle! Vas ist das????" Hahaha...

They will probably say on your report "Engine is missing two cylinders".

Is the coupon good for any dealer or only certain ones?

It says it's good for Porsche Melbourne only, but my guess is that every dealership sends these out and places their dealership in that area. I think the magazine comes from Porsche corporate.

Maybe they are on to me. They didn't call me back to confirm my appointment! I'll try again tomorrow.

No, they are going to say "Engine has 8 extra valves."

Have an appt for Monday morning. Should be interesting.

I am actually really looking forward to see what their "comprehensive inspection" finds. Hopefully nothing major will turn up.

Our local dealership farms out all the work on older (more than 15 years old) Porsches to my current mechanic anyway, so I already know what the inspection would tell me.

I love 911 jokes. If they find oil in the cooling system, will they know that's a problem?

Get someone with a 356 to go in for this. That could be even more interesting.
