Those screens on the front splitter are for a close shave...duh!

or ....they help lift the grass before cutting it.

I know we are having a good time at this guy's expense, but I am certain that is a 'lister's car. There are too many things on that car that were influenced by trends/discussions here on Rennlist. If he ditched the screens, it doesn't look bad really.

ROFL!

As for the wheels - he should have gone all out with dubs. Weak

the porsche decal on back is black and the turbo badge is silver....my only complaint...i think the 944 body is versatile enough that you can go for the 80's, 90's, or modern look on it

Very true. It would also look okay with them painted black. I don't care too much for adding shiny bling silver to the body....wheels are fine....

I guess its kind of like making a newer looking car look retro...sort of like if you were to put all of the chrome from a 70's 911 onto a later 80's black look....just makes it look sort of cheap.

I would agree. There are too many things, that unless you are in the renn groove, would not remotely think about doing. That euro bumper I think is the biggest clue. No question (he/she) spent a lot of time and money..but also no question as to what crowd that car was geared to.

Minus the screens and headlights I think it looks great. We all have to applaud anybody who spends the time and money into what this guy has done to his p-car , like it or not!
