Hey everyone,

As you may know, I have a 1987 944 Turbo shell in my garage that I have been slowly parting. The problem is that according to my dad, the progress is going too slow, and he wants the car out of his garage.

Is there anyone that wants a solid shell for a race car? Its got the interior stripped, and all that. It has the dash still in, however its missing a few trim pieces here and there. All body panels, minus the front bumper are included.

Has:
Rear Hatch
Hood
Both doors with glass
fenders
quarter panels
still has rear control arms

Needs:
Suspension
Drivetrain
Seats

This was a possible track car for me, but I havent been able to find a solid donor car for the drivetrain and suspension I need, so I really just need to get the car out of my dads garage.

If anyone wants individual parts, let me know.

Right now - I Just want the car out of my dads garage, so if anyone wants a tub, I'll sell with all the parts I have left, for $500 OBO. We'll arange some way to get the car on your trailer. If you have a set of rear rims, and rear shocks, it shouldnt be that hard.

Damn... I have a parts car with just the drivetrain and suspension, but it's in California. I don't suppose there's any way of putting the two together....

 

J Kapp here in Flint needs it. He was budgeting around that much for parts.

 

Where are you located.

 

How is the shape of the hatch? Is it still solid around the frame? Still debating if I should just fix mine or buy a replacement.

Yea - I think you bought the car that I was going to rebuild this one with. It was a silver one right? It had rear-end damage? The only issue for me was the drive, I would have had to waited a few weeks to get it, and the guy needed it gone right away.

Glad to see my first 944 turbo fall into the hands of a fellow rennlister. Do you plan to put a drivetrain and suspenion in it or continue the parting?
