Default I know Sam I know.....Car for sale.

Well after months of kicking the idea aroung to keep the car or sell it I have decided to put her up for sale. This was the damn car that took me 1 year plus to find and then I dropped another $12,500 into her after I bought her. I dont know what I should ask for it yet. I have around 20k invested. Let me know what you all think the value of the car is. The car has the original window sticker and every reciept dating back to the original owner. I am the second owner. Out side the car is a 9.9 out of 10 like 3 small rock chips on the air splitter. inside the car is like a 8.5-9 out of 10. Just the normal scuffs on the drivers bolster. The reason I am selling this car is because I am tired of living paycheck to paycheck and I am gettin married soon and I will have to pay a big chunk for that.

1986 951. 77,000 miles. Many mods.. Water pump and belt and rollers done like 3000 miles ago. New cv joints, Autothority Mass air flow system (with chips), tial 38mm wastegate, New blow off valve. accuboost Manuel boost controller, autometer boost gauge mounted in the glowe box, new alpine cd player , 968 rear hatch, 968 mirrors, 968 door handles, 996 turbo twists rims, New toyo tires, B&B full exhaust, W/cat delete, New fuel filter, Oil just changed, Strut brace, new hood liner, Speed force racing 2.5" intercooler pipes, new coolent tank, Turbo badge on the pass side front fender. 930s steering wheel, chrome rings anround the gauges, new door speakers, new rear hatch shocks, tinted windows, the list just goes on and on.

Anyone who has seen this car will tell you how clean it is. Sam is going to kick my *** for this. Sorry man. You know there will be another one down the road.

Oh yea the car was also the grand champion at 944 fest 2005.

Here is one picture more to follow tomorrow.

What!? You are selling it? Well, anyone who is thinking about buying should know that this car is amazing. If I had the money this is the 951 I would buy.

Justin, Sam told me this weekend you had been thinking about selling it for awhile, but he thought you were gonna keep it. He really is gonna kick your ****, I think I'll help him too. I guess I can't say anything as both of mine are up for sale. I think the 84 will be sold next week. That gives me a week to find a POS daily driver, but I think I found an 88 Acura Legend coupe. Its gonna suck driving that thing daily compared to my 944. Good luck with the sale, the market is very soft right now for them so you might be better off waiting until the spring.

As Justin stated, the car is very clean and a nice example of a 951.

Yea well he does not pay my bills....lol. No but really It would just be a hugh weight lifted off if I had money in the bank and didnt have any stupid bills. Plus the soon to be wife is going to be needing a car also. Just all this **** is eating at me. I understand about the market being soft. If I cant get a good price then I will just keep it untill spring. Its not costing me anything just sitting in the garage. Good luck with your sale and we need to have a indy gtg and drink some beer... See ya man

So if i sell a kidney a lung and say half of my liver on the black market, you think that will cover the cost of the 951? That is a beautiful car. Sorry you have to let her go and I hope she finds a good home. Best of luck!

I'd guess that the 12,5K you dropped into her is probably a realistic price as well. You would be better off installing original parts and selling mods seperate.

Very nice car though!!

Damn...wish I had a great 6 months in sales and could buy this car...in fact, wish this car would have been up when I was looking for my 968...good luck with the sale--gorgeous car. Post some more pics if you can.

By the way, what is that circle on the rear 1/4 panel? Looks like a door lock or something...

Soft market and then some....
Off the top of my head 12.5k and that might be a wait....but I have to agree.
Put as much of the original stuff back on and sell the mod stuff separately. Need to pay a bill, put the stock wheels back on and sell off the ones on it. That ought to get you through another month.

Sounds like a smart move though financially speaking, the last thing you need to start a marriage off with is anything financially draining!
Good Luck on the nuptials and car sale.

NOOOOO!! Man please find a way to keep that car! But if not, I hope you get what you want for it. Guys you truly have to see this car to appreciate it. I have lots of pictures of it from the fest. One of the nicest cars there hence why it won Grand Champion. Good luck with the sale Justin!

12,500 is just way to low to ask for her I was thinking like $15,800. I dont know if this is a stupid number but she wont go anywhere for much under that.

I have seen lesser 951s go for $15 a couple years ago. Just be firm with the price and let the market come back up to your asking price. It goes up and down all the time. Will take some time though.
