Early porsche 944 wont start..HELP!!

but if the car has spark and fuel wouldn't that mean that the sensors are good?

That's the kind of thinking that'll get you 6 months of downtime. The magnets in the sensors can hang inside the sleeve and not slide back down as the flywheel rotates. It can spark as the wheel goes paste the sensor without getting "all" the information it needs by not returning to the down position after the tooth passes.

nope not the sensors..car still wont start. Im takin into the dealership hopefully this weekend. thats gunna set me backa pretty penny but i cant seem to figure it out at all. hope they can!!!

I finally took it to a shop and found out what is wrong with the car. piston ring went bad and damaged the cylinder wall severly...! so now im looking for either a new block or possibly an engine? if anybody has a block or a engine they selling PLEASE get back to me ASAP!!! i miss my car!!! thanks every one!!!

From your first post. I'm not sure why a bad ring or scored wall would keep your car from starting...something with that diagnosis just doesn't sound right to me.

yeah me either but from sitting so long the engine seized up on me...so not sure what to do now...???
