Sure is a gem! My neighbor recently sold his 79' 911SC that had 3,700 orginal miles on it! He had the original Pirelli's w/ fuchs, spare tire with the bag and air compressor. Interior was immaculate and it still had the cosmolyene underneath. Wish I took some pictures of it, but I am sure he still has some. Thanks for sharing!

15k is not way too high for this car! It's actually very reasonable given the car's condition and its low mileage. I admit, this is coming from one of the few people on this board who prefer the early interior over the late interior. I would not buy this car myself, just given the fact I would drive it and that defeats the value of the low mileage. If the seller has the patience to find the right buyer I'm sure the car would bring more than 15k.

Not to be a party pooper but if one was going to run this vehicle, time not just milage, age a vehicle. That brake fluid is very dark, I'd bet it's full of water and rusted the inside of the brakelines, calipers? or are they aluminum? all the rubber would likely be brittle, etc....

For a collector it's a different story, that car probably belongs in a museum!

The brake fluid looks to be ATE Super Blue Racing brake fluid. I have it both my cars, and it is that dark and blue. ATE makes a gold/clear fluid as well to reduce wasting good fluid when flushing the brake fluid out. A little bit here and there adds up when you bleed out and flush the system often before/during races.I alternate between both colors. Also the blue is easily spotted if and when there is a leak.

Wonder if the Timing belt and Balance Shaft Belts have been replaced? I am with you on age alone taking its toll. I have seen more looow mileage cars leak like civs, but this one looks to be uber well maintained!

Wow that is quite the find! The only thing I would be concerned with are the timing belts, as the owner mentioned. Sure, it was garage kept, barely driven etc, but I wouldn't want to go far on 21 year old belts!

Perfect for the collector who doesn't drive his cars.....the guy who uses his cars as more of a display. Too bad finding someone like that who wants an early 944 is almost impossible...

If I had the asking price, I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I also prefer the early cars to be honest - and that one is amazing.

I've never really been a fan of the brown interior and those floormats aren't my favorite (that "chunky" looking font is kinda' cheesy looking), but that color (ruby red metallic) is one of the nicest available on our cars. If I bought it, I'd probably not drive it much either.

Problem is, it's an 84. If it was an 89, or 91, I'd be way more inerested. In the end, unless you wanna keep that car in your living room, you can buy a 110k mile 84 for $5k, right?
