Very, very cool article on the 924 Carrera GTS Clubsport. Great story, amazing little cars....

I won't talk about how badly I want to build a replica until the rest of ya'll get a chance to read the article

 

Seems our own John Dixon of Taj Magraj fame mentioned he recently picked up one of the cars mentioned in the article. Eric or Tifo likely knows more. Yet another 924/944 variant lives in Ohio now!

Yea, the 924 Carrera GTS Clubsport is trully an amazing car. HA! I caught that little error in the caption too!

 

It's the "narrow body" kit from GT racing.

 

yeah...first time i read that caption for the parade...i shook my head in shame....

its a 924...lol i have the same issue.

 

how about john bentons twin plug 912? johns a friend of mine in the 912 registry. he actually let me drive it this august.. the thing just hauls ***. nothing but torque and it sounds unbleieveable. ive never had a bigger smile in all my life til i drove it.
