Thanks for all the replies, I will get to the emails in the AM. I took some pictures and will upload them tomorrow too.

I do not have a way to tell if the wheels are true. The flats probably are, they are in nice shape. Not sure about the clubsports, they are pretty beat up and curbed but I do not recall them obviously being out of round. Some goober had mounted one 9" on the front and one on the rear of the parts car they came off of, and it had a bent frame so it never handled all that well.

Shipping on wheels is about $20 each as I recall. I'm not currently taking offers, maybe someday.

Thanks,
-Joel.

Update: I cannot find my pictures of the clubsport wheels, I will have to get them out of storage and take new ones. I will also make some effort to determine if they are round.

Regarding the 951 short block: The engine is currently fully assembled. I thought I'd see if anyone local wanted to do a leakdown or compression test something before I tore it apart. I do not plan to sell anything other than the short block at this time.

Thanks,
-Joel.

Clubsport wheels added to the pics here:

I do not see that the clubsports are obviously out of round but I cannot spin them until I have a wheel off one of the cars. Maybe in a few days I can do that, I need to do the front shocks on the 928.

i thought there was an extra threaded hole on a turbo block. someone pointed it out to me at the fest with the one Dan brought to look at. i dont remember what the hole was for, but there is an extra hole

you can use a 951 block for an NA, but you would be nuts (IMO) to buy a factory built up bottom end and undo all that labor to put in NA pistons. Would you not have to match the tolerance group as well?

Those club sports are curbed to the point of no return! Poor things!

I suppose the lips can be welded up and remachined. I was thinking just clean 'em up with a die grinder and use stick-on wheel weights.

The PO must have lived on a one way street, or rotated the curbed wheels to the opposite side so he could curb them all in due course. What really did a number on the 9" rears were the idiots who put 225mm tires on them so the rim stuck waaaaay out. Nice work boys. 225's all around is OK on 7" and 8" rims but they do not fit well on 9" rims.

Sad to see that (and a bunch of other stuff) happen to a Turbo S. It was the original owner too.
