I absolutely never ever and I mean never ever see 944's around where I live. Not even in my local PCA. There are a couple in my local PCA but they don't ever drive them. So here is the deal, I've seen 3 of them in the last 2 days. Two white and a red one in my parking lot at work.

What's the deal?

I rarely see them, and when I do I freak out. Ha, I remember one night it had been months since I had seen one. I get together with my friends and we drive somewhere in his jeep. I saw 6 944s that night.

Yea...the amount of 944's in my area has jumped up considerably. Before i knew of two in the area...both hardly ever driven. Over the last few months i have seen atleast 3 more being used as daily drivers and on occasion two 944 Turbos i see on only the nicest of days.

All i gotta say is "Why does everyone gotta waste my flava?"

I see two regularly...one is red and looks okay...the other is silver-blueish...and is in such horrible condition

I was like "hey! thats me!" And then realized your in the wrong state...

I'm being too hard on my poor car. There arent too many around here. And the few I see arent too well taken care of.

There is one late model silver one with green ghost flames driven by a 300lb native american though...

Yeah, i see maybe 1 944 a week here. it's a reddish one heading in the opposite direction of traffic in the morning. aside from that, not many around these parts. i did see a guy in monterey with a red '88 n/a. pretty nice, but the guy was in a wheelchair...and somehow driving. weird. i havent seen any turbos out here tho. oh well

I saw 2 in the span of 1 block... in this neighborhood, they are RARE.... mostly you'll see either the college student's new BMW or Volvo, or (not intending to be racial, but it's the truth hear) the mexican's beat down chevrolet or ford...

then, I saw 2 944's and a 911 on the same street, all within 4 blocks, the 944's within a block of each other! I was like OMG!!! it was neat.

There was a guy I used to see at autocrosses - drove a maroon 944 (very well), and then got out into his wheelchair! He steered w/one hand & had some kind of hand-controls for everything else. Very impressive.

Aside from my mom's (and my own of course), I see a 944 about 4 times per week. It's either the smashed light blue metallic NA on the way to SFSU, a gaurds red NA at SFSU, or some random turbo or s2 on the freeway that makes me jealous.
