#10,000---- post, that is.
I was going to pace myself and wait until 9/24.. but here it is, and there it goes.
What a long strange trip it's been..
THE VERY First person I met from Rennlist was Michelle, and I'm consistently amazed how good a mechanic she really is. Keep it going- the 951's getting better everyday.
Then thre is Illinois, Wis and Iowa crew.. The UK contingent, The Tweeks Gang, 944 fest attendees, Hershey, all points I have visited in the last (almost) decade driving the 924S. every state -new people and one thing in common. Rabid uncondtional love for front engined watercooled Porsche.
Then it happened. 944Fest 03. It was so monumental a moment that I MOVED to Ohio a year and a half later..
Here's to all of you I have met and appreciate. There are far too many to list them all- so her's the short list of standouts. I apologize If I left you out- it was purely oversight on my part. These are in NO order, just as they popped into my head.
Many many many thank you's are owed- not necessarily where they are from- but where I met them...
Illinois- Michelle JD, Schmitty, Adam, Chris (Highway T :UK), all the great folks a Tweeks.
The Hershey crew..Adrial, Lee, Cheetah Chrome, nickhance, Marty, The Shark guys (Wow what agreat bunch of guys the 928 owners are) , the aircoolers, so much frigging fun I smile when I think of Hershey, PA.
The SOW crew- Hoffman, Wade, Dale, Danny & Erin, Andy & Tammy , Kenny, Tifo, Pete, Johnny, Jerry, Jason , Fishey, Volv , Sammy, Cory, Nabeel, Carl, Marty, Vince, and an ever growing list of malcontents. You folks are the best.
ALL of the 944 Fest attendees in 03, 04 and 05 (god- TOO many I dont want to leave anyone out so I'll skip ALL the names. You know who you are and you're ALL guilty of what you have been accused...) and our ever gracious host Dan P and Cuz for making this event even possible.
The Fla Guys- Matt O and Travis.
The KWCS- Scott and crew. The bomb.
My "other" brother = Triscadek. your a sick dude- but thats Ok by me.
The west coast wrenchers.. every post from you reminds me of a line from the movie "Stripes". You guys kill me.
The thousands of rennlisters who have helped me without knowing it by posting a tip or trick, and me- I pass along to others.
and of course, everbody knows my father.. Winslow of Horsepowerfarm.
Here's to Rennlist!
John D. and Jen, Thanks for everything including a wonderful neighborhood to play in. (This time you DONT have to play with my post count John!)
If this is considered OT, that fine. I wanted to give credit where credit is due ON the forum board where it all happened.

Congrats. That's a big number. It always seemed like on forums eventually the old-school posters slowly leave, meaning no one really gets above say 5,000. That says alot about rennlist to see so many people stick around and contribute.

Chris, Thanks! I bookmarked your newbie thread so I always go there on my way to the 924/944 etc board. You jumped right in to help me when I was looking to join this exclusive fraternity and you bear me no ill will for not driving an ultra rare guards red 944. MAy you post another 10k... and another and another!
