Well, I needed to update the post. Pelican is accepting the RMA!! And because it was a gift, they are not charging me a re-stocking fee.

Porschephile 924

Hope that things work out for the best.

yeah when you order enough parts online your bound to have some screw ups. I ordered a welt. adj. swaybar from germanpartsrestoration.com-something like that- and they sent me a swaybar w/ no endlinks. I called-great customer service- and they said that welt must have left them out of the package and sent them to me right away no charge. IM still waiting for pelican to reply to my letter i sent them about my new speedo cable i purchased and the damn thing broke already, nothing wrong w/ the routing or anything just snapped one day a few months after we bought it.

I ordered some seals and gaskets when I was going through the oil cooler, and one part was back ordered. Not that I was told this when ordering, nor was I contacted in any way. The only way I found out was to check online. This was after a week of waiting for parts needed for a car that was truely undriveable. Like you, this is my daily driver. After I cancelled the order, I recieved an e-mail with an apology. Then a full week later, I recieved the parts, which I promply refused. COD is sometimes a wonderful thing.
