Default Drove a 944 again

Oh my god do I miss 944s. Also realized how much more I like the 85.5+ interior over my 85s. I'm on my way to Sears/Autozone and getting something to extract the stripped cheesheads from the CV joint/trans fluid/new bolts and then figuring out why my 944 doesn't start anymore. I CANT WAIT!!!!

That brings me to another point. What do you think I would be able to sell a ~150K 85 944 with new clutch/new (used) trans/ OK interior and nice artic silver paint for? 15x7 and 15x8 fuchs too. I REALLY want a guards/black 85.5+ 944 or ANY 951.......

Anyone else with an out of commision 944?

I let my wife drive my car after months of her commenting on the "money pit", and how crazy I am to keep putting money into it, etc, etc.

Well, she took it out on the highway, and immediately said "WOW, this car drives great! Like it's on rails!!". Needless to say, I just thought "I told you so"!

I took her car, and followed her on her drive. I tell ya, the 944 looks pretty damned good seeing it on the road, in action!

When you get your car going, or if you go just happen to go down to Wappingers Falls, past the Burger King is a Guards Red 944.

Mine was out of commission until today. got her back on the road, and DAMN... what a feeling, though the handling and brakes have become sucky since I last drove (put the snow tires on prematurely due to BALD summer tires), I still missed it.

Drive mine every day (just got back from a trip to a fellow 'listers place) except for wednesday - that is trash day, and as big as the cargo space is on the 944, it still can't handle a dumpster - gotta drive the big ugly truck of death on Wed.

I'm storing mine away for the winter in October until April. It's the first time i've stored it, so that's going to be a long six months. Oh well, on the bright side at least i'm keeping the car out of the harsh Minnesota winter so that's something to be happy about.
