The cam tower gasket is prone to leaking, but usually only at the back (cork) part of the gasket. Are you losing a lot of oil? From the looks of the heatsheilds (spotless) you are probably just seeping a bit of oil from the cam tower gasket. I would think that is normal. Have you ever had the cam tower off? 18 or so years on one gasket and just a few drops of oil is pretty darn good if you ask me. Looks great by the way!

That looks awesome. Looks like it probably is the cam tower gasket, but no way in hell its worth pulling it off for just those little spots.

Im to afraid to just take a power washer and spray the thing down so,
I just sprayed Gunk engine cleaner on the tough spots and rinsed it with the garden hose, then went around with a wet rag and just scrubbed. Finally i sprayed some engine brite on all the rubber/plastic pieces and wiped it of so it doesn't leave a shiny wet look.
It takes some time to do it but id rather be safe then sorry
