Default My o my..another lost

I lost a quick drag from 2nd gear rolling with a Mazda MX-6 LS today. I had the MX-6 for a few seconds in 2nd, but once I shifted to 3rd, I was 2 cars behind.

Go buy a cheap american car with a huge engine. A Porsche is not made for drag racing or street racing.

Throw your heat shield's up, and get a clue what the car is intended to do!

Nonetheless, This isn't the place you want to brag about your racing.

No drag, track if anything. No money to get rollcage to track, but a go-cart and see what your 1/4 mile is

Why on earth would anyone want to drag race a Mazda MX-6, any way? Who really cares?

So you think the sole purpose of owning a Porsche is to drag race people? PLEASE, and I do mean PLEASE, put down your keys and sell your car before you hurt it even more than it already is. Sad.

its a unique connection through the car to the road. the best times in my car have been on empty roads in the middle of nowhere.

Please, its not for the sake of drag racing people. It's for the thrill & the excitement that only comes forth when racing a performance thorough bred against other makes with similar specs. For me to have a win will simply imply a superb engineered machine. A superb engineered machine that I own. That alone, makes life great & the reason why I drive a Porsche.
