Default WTB stock '86 cookie cutter wheel

Hi guys, I'm looking for a black rim for my 86 na. My left rear one has a pretty large chunk missing right on the lip and it's digging into the sidewall. Anyone selling or know where I can get one? Also what is the dimension of a stock rear 1986 na rim? If I can't find a matching rim I'll have to buy something different.

I have a couple of decent 15x7 cookie cutter rims. They could use some new paint, and as far as i know they are straight and true. PM if you are interested.

And acutally I just measured the diameter or my wheels and it came to around 16.5 inches for all four. Should it not be 15 for an 86 na?

CC's were only in 15". My son bent two of them and it took me 6 months to find a pair...you get a response in 15 minutes. Must be a time of year thing; out here all the 944 spec guys snap them up.

Yea here's the pic I sent karl:

How much does a fuch rim run for? Would it be cheaper to get a set of stock rims and mount new tires on them? Or could I mount a pair of my 16 in fuch's on the rear and get a set of stock rims up front? It'll look bad, but it's a weekend track car and my main concern is it working properly.

It is either a 16X7 911 Fuchs wheel or a 16X8 951 Fuchs wheel. Flip it over and look for the size and part# on the backside of the black "petals". It should say something like "16Jx7 or 16Jx8" and a part# that starts with a 911 or a 951.

If it is a 911 Fuch they are cheap, can usually be found for $100-$200 each on ebay. If it is a 951 Fuch, they are rarer and tend to go in sets.

I will check on that later. So would it be practical to mount two of my fuchs on the rear, and buy a pair of stock rims for the front?

Fuchs ARE stock rims. It would be more practical to get another of the exact same size and make and replace the damaged one.

There are quite a few sets of Fuchs on ebay atm, as well as cookie cutters. I won't link em since ppl don't like that. I wouldn't either if I was bidding on something.

Has anyone had a Fuchs wheel repaired? With the price they are going for it might cost less to have that one repaired, rather than trying to find a replacement.

There is a place in Columbus OH that can repair that wheel back to new condition for around $150 plus shipping both ways. If it is a 951 Fuch, it would be better to get it repaired than replacing it (as a consideration of cost). If it is a 911 Fuch, I would just buy another.
