My mother-in-law backed her mini van into my 944 last week. The front is smashed up pretty good.
I took it to a body shop that I use for all my cars this morning and we talked about the game plan. Everything is either repairable with new/used bolt on parts except for one item.
Its the brace that holds the pop-up light in place towards the center. It looks like it is welded to the frame. I don't have my PET here but in looks like it is part of the lock carrier (part number 944 501 933 00).
Does anyone know the part i'm talking about and if I can get them as separate pieces. Or do I need to get a whole new lock carrier?

I have a brand new complete front end sub-assembly. It evens includes the nose panel. The body shop would have a easier time cutting your old one off, and welding this one back in. The is a genuine Porsche part, not after market, and it is brand new, never used. I can't re-size to post pic here, so e-mail, and I will send the pics to you.
