Default FS: VW 2002 Gti 337 14K obo

2002 VW Gti 337

I'm going to take advantage of my membership and post this car in one more place as I need to sell this ASAP; had a buyer back out last minute to "save his marriage".

My wife and I bought this car as a Christmas present last year, however we have a new baby girl and we also have the 944 turbo. We're shuffling things around and the good news is that you get this AMAZINGLY kept and modified car for a great price.

So, this is a 2002 GTI 337 w/69,000 miles for $14K OBO

Around $5K of mods professionally installed by Tomas Sport Tuning
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ATP MFG FMIC
New Audi TT Diverter Valve
APR EMCS DirectPort ECU programs (stock/91/100)
Samco Sport TIP
K&N drop in
FK Automotive Highsport coilovers
Audi TT 6spoke 17" wheels w/ Yokohama AVS ES 100 225/45/17 tires
Millie Miglia 5 spoke 16" wheels with spiked tires (brand new for winter)
ECS Tuning N75 boost valve
ECS Tuning (Earl's) stainless steel brake lines
OEM VW European headlight switch with disabled DRL's and rear foglight
Subaru WRX boost gauge
Clear side markers
*many more little things I am forgetting*

Plus ALL Records from NEW including all original VW documentation. Has had a recent oil change, trans fluid change, brake fluid change, spark plugs and k&n filter cleaning. Just changed the pads to high performance ceramics. I'll include the Bentley manual & all original parts minus the factory BBS wheels -never had 'em. I have the clean carfax report, title is free and clear, etc.

I'm in Reno, NV but I'll make arrangements w/buyers in the greater 48. Would prefer to ship via Intercity Lines.

I just deleted posts ranging from a picture of a puppy to a story about a night in a bar.

Everyone has had their fun, please let this guy sell his car now. He IS a paying member and has had his title updated to reflect that. Thank you.

Nice GTI, have you posted it over on VWVortex.com? There are a LOT of people looking for a nice 337 and yours is definitely one of those.

Yep, that is my second attempt on the vortex, and the car has also been posted numerous other places. I hope you are right about people wanting to buy a 337 because so far it seems that there are alot of lookers and not too many that want to pony up the dough.

Anywho, this would be a great track car (hello no sunroof) with a few additional suspension mods and it is basically ready for a full-blown APR stage 3/4 kit.

Throw it in the audiword classifieds, lots of VW nuts there as well and that a nice car.

Vortex is the place to sell it! Thats a beautiful example of the car! I have a 20thAE so i know what these cars are like. Its what the GTI should have been the whole time since the Mk4 came out. Good luck on the sale! If anyone here is interested in that car, it makes an awesome daily driver combo with a 944 weekend car!

And with a set of snow tires and rims, that GTI really does well! It out handled a few SUVs in my family in a good amount of snow! 337 is quite rare as well!

Also, you might want to try the forums at www.slovw.com and www.socaleuro.com

Are you considering any trades??? I've got a 96 Mustang GT(mild auto-X setup), a 23' SeaRay, and a '99 BMW R1100 S (w/ Ohlins shocks and Remus exhaust) that need to find homes elsewhere. PM me if you're interested.

I just bought my 01 GTI (AWP) a little more than a month ago. 82K miles and bone stock. Put 2K into it within 30 days, springs, sways, added stock stereo components and other misc things and I am still short the body work your 337 gave you and have another 15K miles on ya.

Had I known that yours had been for sale and on this coast it would already been sold. Shoot, for the difference the air or transport it is worth the $. PLUS a set of winters??
