Nitrous...
Nitrous + turbo....bad? I don't know a whole lot about the workings of a car, and haven't heard anything about this.....so just curious! Please don't flame me...

This has come up several times. I built my own MAF to prove it can be done...
Now I guess I'll have to tackle this next
I have wanted to try a 50 shot nitrous system with a pressure switch to kill the N2O
when boost hits 5 -10 psi. I think this could be a safe install that would really aid
in low end power.
I really think it would be pretty hard to control with out LSD

whoa...is that what you used on your S2 fishey?
after having read the books ive been reading (stuffed with info may i add but not experience. so i cant actually combat your word. BUT) a fogger system is trying to make the intake manifold designed for a dry charge (only air) carry nitrous AND gas. making it a wet manifold. which it was not designed for. plus. nitrous and gas may come out mixed in the nozzle. but gas and nitrous have different properties and weights. so the gas will seperate from the nitrous in bends and will not be mixed evenly in the cyclinders when it gets there. one cylinder may go realyl rich while another goes extremely lean with too much nitrous.
if you can. please get a port injection dry nitrous system. plus. with turbocharging..and cutting out once your ON boost. you running the hairy edge. and you dont want an inferior system ruining your motor.
obviously it works for an S2. and thats great. but maybe someone whos done it to a 951 can chime in?

mm....you guys got my insides quivering with antici.....................pation. Now, to do some more research and figure out everythign I can, then...on to saving money!!! I guess this means no need for a boost enhancer?

really. new nirous sytems are pretty advanced. lots of failsafes and whatnot.
not sure if there is a system that you can make cut out at a certain MAP pressure. ive only heard of standalone controlling that,. but it would be cool if there was a system for that. you could just say cut on at 90% throttle above 2500 rpm untill ...4000...any systems that let you do that?

don't buy into the idea that a single vendor has a system advanced enough to be safe. A reliable nitrous system is often built from parts from many different vendors and will probably include a timer/controller, RPM window switch, intake pressure switch, WOT switch, and you will need an extra fuel pump for a forced induction application. This kit should be a wet kit, and look into alcohol injection as well. study and learn before you buy anything.
