Hmmm...be eaten by thousands of newly-hatched spiders, or, take your car to a carwash?
Pretty much a no-brainer to me, Tony!
PS--I had a big spider living in my '78 Marshall's cabinet! Made the amp sound better!

I'm with the small group here that loath spiders. I'm going on vacation and I'm heading out to the van right now to bug-bomb it...it sits for months at a time and the spiders and wasps always find a way in...could it be all the P-car parts and lumber I bring home in it? Nothing will cause a fatal car accident faster than having a freaking spider crawl up my leg while driving. Snakes, bats, assorted vermin don't phase me at all, in fact I like them...go figure.

Blue S2, this thread does amuse me. (at your expense)
A guy I work with lived in Sydney, Australia for a few years. He heard while he was out there that spiders could have been responsible for a few fatal crashes where no other vehicles were involved.
This was due to the Huntsman spider taking a sleep behind the sunvisor, these are harmless but huge. Obviously, when you are tootling along and the suns in your eyes, you pull the sunvisor down and WTF a huge spider as big as your hand lands in your lap or where ever. Your focus will probably have been taken off the road somewhat!
Could be true, probably just a good 'shaggy dog' story. But makes you think.....?
I have included a pic I took in the garden of one of our dangerous spiders here in the UK (well, it would be if you were the Hoverfly!) It had a good 4 or 5mm span.

Time to buy MANY cans of RAID! First, spray the underside of your car, and then bomb the interior. Leave the doors shut for a couple of hours and nothing will survive in there.

Ok, im gonna try something before going the pest agents path. I borrow some super power vaccum from my neighbor. This thing sucks! (literally!) I didn't want to use our vaccum cause its a central vac. I didnt want to chance spiders running loose in our house because i sucked them up! Ide never hear the end of it!
SO! Im gonna vacuum the crap outta them. Suck up every last one i can see hints of. THEN im gonna pressure was the whole damn car. (gentle on the paint though!) After that im gonna run the car on the road and hopefully knock any straglers off. THEN im gonna try leaving something in the interior. Mothballs or whatever. Hopefully that will help for now.
Next week at the shop i will see the underside better and make sure i dont have any more lairs. Hopefully heat from the exhaust, headers, etc... would destroy anything still hiding in there.
Thanks for the comment. Cobalt blue is a neat color. The new GT magazine did an article on a few 944s this month and it just happens on of them is Cobalt blue! Not surprising though cause any shade blue is the most popular color for P-cars in the UK for some reason. They seem to have the majority of Cobalt cars! Whats super similar and looks amazing is the new 997 PCA car with Azzuro California paint. Its just like Cobalt with the purple flakes, but its a lighter shade of blue! Stunning!
