So I was moving stuff into my new apartment today, after I was done maybe 2 hours or so I go back to my car and see that it is keyed. This wasn't accidental, keyed down to the metal the length of the passenger side and in some spots keyed twice. Needless to say I am pissed. I am still a young (in college), but I have not nor will I ever disrespect someone elses property. I hate people like that.

 

People suck. I thought that the apartment parking lot wouldn't be as bad as on campus, I'm moving into my apartment next week....

 

Well, Yeah, People just suck.

my car gets spat upon often and THAT pisses me off...I couldn't imagine it being keyed.... I dunno, with my pink hood, I might rejoice in that I'm getting the car painted...

 

Anyone around to see it? maybe, just maybe someone got a description of the guy. it obviously cannot be buffed out or filled correctly so you might have to have those panels repainted. Also if you do find out who did it, their beatings better be not far from death I hate people that are envious and jealous that do this. Happened to me before and I literally burned his belongings for it

 

Thing is, I purposely got this apartment cause it was in a nice part of town. Best part is that my home is basically in the ghetto, and guess what? No one would dare touch my car. So I go park in a nice area of town and boom, its keyed.

Who ever did is lucky I wasn't there to see it, because I would have chased him down and put him on the ground. Maybe he would then kill me, but I would still do it.

 

I had someone write on my car with a black dry erase marker!!! This was also in an apartment lot. Dry erase is only erasable on a glass or plastic surface. So I had to course buff a ton of paint off of my roof. Those F-ing bastards. I wanted to beat senseless the people who did it.

I feel for you and I'm sorry to hear about your incident. Post a notice by the mail boxes offering some$$$ for information. Then take them to small claims if it is worth it to you.

 

There are probably 25 different dimples in the sides of my car thanks to idiots, classmates, and idiot classmates who park too close to me and open their doors wide. I hate that, the car doesn't look as good when the sun is shining on it.

 

That really sucks.

Sometimes when I get mad I start to think that it's not even worth owning a nice car because everybody just destroys it. My car has never been keyed or even spat on, knock on wood, but judging the size of a few door dings (one is so big it looks like a golf ball hit it) I'd be willing to bet that a few people purposely opened their door into my car with the intention of putting a nice dent in it.

Wow reallly? That really is one of the last places I would have explected that to happed. I lived on Centre for four years (right across from Pep Boys) and I never had a problem. Sux man, sorry to hear it.

 

You can get some touch up paint and at least reduce the offence.
There are threads on here(search at the top) and you can use brake cleaner(at your own risk-read threads) and a rag to take the edge off and for the most part it will blend.

BOTTOM LINE IS HUMANS ARE SELFISH.

Few and far between are the intelligent.
