Default I'm looking for a very nice 944S2 coupe....

I am on the hunt for a very nice 944S2 coupe, preferrably with 80-100k miles (or less).

Please email me with your contact info and detail on the car if interested in selling.

Thanks.

tempting, but my she who must be obeyed would kill me if i sold the S2 (gray/burg 89 with 56k and cosmoline still on the underside) before the firebird.

if i sold the firebird i would consider selling the S2 and buy a boxster or 911.

Tom......let me know if you decide to sell, your car looks very nice!

Spider.....I have looked at that one on European Locators, not in person, but in some additional pics, and it doesn't look as nice as what I'm looking for.

Has anyone seen this one at European Locators?

Thanks.

Let me know if anyone is looking to sell.

Thanks.

I have 3 customers with 944 Turbo's for sale, but no nice S2's. I think there was a fairly priced 968 on the Pelican boards-

Have you tried the Porsche Club of America "Mart"?

Just a question - why do you want a coupe? The S2 cabrio is a WAY nicer looking car and is worth a lot more for a nice specimen. That's where I'd go if I had the choice. . .

Ben.....I'm religiously searching the PCA mart, rennlist, roadfly etc. Keeping my eyes out everywhere (even Autotrader). I know cars sometimes sell by word of mouth before the get put out for sale.

Jeff....not interested in a cab, I track my cars so not looking for the added weight, body flex, complexity etc. I did have a Boxster years ago and loved it. But for an S2, coupe is the way to go for me!

Thanks.....Jim

Jim: What is the price range you're looking for? And are you looking for a stock vehicle, or one gutted out for racing?

I've heard the S2 cab is actually superior to a coupe for track handling since the CG is lower. . .

Of course you'd need a roll cage - a good one!

Chase.....I am looking to pay a good price for the right car. I am using the Excellence values from the Apr05 issue as a guideline. You interested in selling yours? Lets talk. Send me a PM with your contact info, or drop me an email.

Jeff.....I hadn't heard that about the cabs having a lower cg. Still prefer the coupe!! I'm sure you can't go wrong with either one, different flavor of a great car!
