Default Tie rod installation

Does anyone have a link to a procedure for removing/installing inner tie rods? I checked clarks garage and couldnt find it anywhere. I was hoping to have this finished this evening.

Thanks,
Anthony

It's rather straightforward. Just make sure you have the right wrench. Actually, I vaguely remember using a pipe wrench to prevent the steering rack from spinning when doing it (it won't but coould put a lot of stress on the rack/pinion).
Toe alignment should follow, but I'm sure you knew this.

The only procedure you should follow is to take the rack to the opposite stop when torquing/untorquing the tie rods. The mesh between the rack and the pinion should easily be able to handle the torque, but taking it over to the stop prevents damaging (minorly) any of the center teeth on the rack.

I would not recommend using a pipe wrench on the rack, as you'll be 100x more likely to get leaks. PS fluid pressures get up near 1000 psi.
