Does Wal-Mart usually carry 4x6?

You'd put anything from WalMart on your Porsche?!?! Oh the horror!

I just converted to Blaupunkt 4x6s all around with a dual 12" Blaupunkt sub and Blaupunkt 2x160 amp. It's quite lovely. Actually I need to finish mounting the sub case this weekend if it isn't too hot, but it sounds magnificent.

The entire upgrade cost less than $300 - it's just knowing where to look.

Only thing that's irritating me now is my receiver (Blaupunkt Tokyo) has an annoying habit of the backlighting only working some of the time. I'll probably replace it with a Los Angeles unit eventually, but it's perfectly adequate for drowning out the sound of freeway noise with the windows down and sunroof off, which is key to me. I can't stand road noise.

Wal-Mart carries some Pioneer 4x6 speakers, but nothing else that I can see on the website. Honestly I'd go with Crutchfield, much better selection.

Sharky, I have a pair of Alpine SPS-4629 4x6 coaxs that I had in my '90 S2 doors for a year. I have since replaced them with components and stuff. They fit fine with the only mod required was to remove some plastic from the inside of the factory "mesh grills" with a dremel. For a 4x6 they sounded good. I paid 90something for them... PM me if you're interested, I'm sure we could work out a fair price...
