Default I'm official now and I need a nice Reno...

Hey everyone, just paid my membership, so it'll show up in a day or two, (I'm official now Dev lol).

Anyway, (I know a post like this comes up now and then) I waited until after 944fest was over to put this up, so ANYONE who has a nice original working Blaupunkt Reno I would like to get one - my 944 came with a charleston but it was supposed to have a Reno. I know they aren't great but I'd like one for the originality thing, plus I have some old 80's cassettes that would be fun to use...you can post, e-mail, or PM me, pics would be great with a small description, I have original reno manuals but if you want to give those up to I may not mind another set laying around. So mainly the radio, who's got 'em?, and just tell me if I am right - the blau equalizer (I don't want one) only works with 10 speaker systems, not the 4, right?

haha, no I know, they are absolutely mint though, and I already have replacements in mp3 if they get trashed, like I said it's for the originality aspect.

When I brought my '87 S, the owner gave the Reno to me (it had been replaced by a nice CD unit) in case I wanted to change back. Apparently it works, although I have never verified this myself. It looks a little dusty, but OK otherwise. I'd be happy to send it to you for the cost of shipping (unfortunately I'm in Canada, so it will cost a little more than typical...)

Let me know what you think.

Thanks!

Allan that sounds good, e-mail me through my profile and we can work something out (I'll PM/e-mail you also), could I see pics first? Most likely I'll take it, but if anyone else has reno's, post anyway cause I prob am going to buy 2 or 3 of them until I find one I am happy with.

Default Edit - Ran into a snag with the Reno, who's got one?

bump -
Well Allan is holding onto a radio for me, but he is missing the main wire with the metal plug on the rear. Before I decide to swap parts out of my blown charleston (I don't want to if I don't have to) so does anyone else have a nice one laying around? I really need one, thanks if you can help.

what is a reno and a charlestown? I have three blau radios, one from an 87s, and one from a 89-my car- i can check to see what they are, both work, i believe both are cassette.
