are you kiddin? it's true, my dad did offer to let me bring the turbo... Did I jump on that opportunity? No. it's not my car. it wouldn't have the same special feeling as going cross-country in my car, that I built the power plant with my own two hands, have maintained for the last 4 years, and developed a road-trip history with. I seriously, will not go on a road trip without the 924S. it's just not the same, and not as fun...

not to mention, the turbo would get me so many tickets! I thought I had one today, I'm cruisin the highway, and look behind me, unmarked car on my **** with the lights flashing, I have a mild stroke, and move over a lane, and he blows right by me... I then proceeded to the nearest proctologist's office and had them remove a tan Porsche script seat from my bum...

 

Dayton to Cleveland is a long haul just for a wax job. I think I owe my Glacier Girl a personal rubdown after a few of my tricks this last weekend..

Not intending to sound redundant - I repeat what Porschephile has said - this was THE BEST trip and vacation ever - Dead Serious!
