Good body shops in greater Phoenix area
Hey all,
I'm looking at car that is gonna need a replacement front left fender and re-spray. I'd appreciate any information on general body shop work regarding Porsches, but more specifically which shops are best in the Phoenix area. Currently, the only shop I know of is the one Stuttgart Southwest uses, which I think is next door but I'm not sure about their affiliation. I'm not really concerned that much about the cost, I just want to be sure that the paint will be a perfect match to the discontinued silver rose paint on the car. The current owner said they had the job appraised at one shop for $1,600, but for some reason I think that might be a little low for a brand new fender and spray. I hope I'm wrong... Thx,
-Sean

Where is Fountain Valley, do you mean Fountain Hills? I was thinking about using Stuttgart, I hope they can get a new front fender without it taking months. What have you heard/experienced regarding Advanced Auto Body?

Custom auto body on Cave Creek road. The owner paints alot of Porsches and races a 951. I had my BMW fixed at Scotts Coachworks in Downtown PHX. They were great at body and paint, a little down on details and customer service. I would at least checkout Custom Autobody, Cave Creek road just south of Cactus RD.

Race Director
I know the owner of Custom Auto Body. His name is Avo. Nice guy. I have not had him do any work for me, but he has done work a for a 944 racer friend of mine. He did is 944-spec car, 951 race car, and 66 911 street car after a minor off. I think he also did his 993 C4S after a street incident.
