Default Turbo Wax Review + 951 Pics

Thanks to Pelican member Juan Ruiz, I was given the opportunity to try out Turbo Wax, in my never ending search for a wax I like. It is, by far, the best wax that I personally have ever tried. My paint is in pretty good shape but in need of a wax, still the difference blew me away. I have never been this impressed in a wax product before. I clayed with Meguiars, used the paint cleaner and the paint protector, and the end result is outstanding. Both products dried very quickly, and were very easy to apply and remove, but the quick dry time could be that Kansas is a close suburb of hades today. I also tried the tire shine, it seems like a quality product as well, nice shine without too much oily gloss. Overall, the pics don't do the shine justice, but I am a crappy photographer.

Standard disclaimer: I do not know Juan, and do not have any interest in the success or failure of his business, I just wanted to share. In the past I have tried Meguiar's Gold Class, Professional Series, that other stuff in the red bottle, NXT, all in conjunction with a Meguiar's polish, or 3M hand glaze. I also have tried Zymol, and probably some other stuff I've forgotten

Matt, at one point in time, you should try out Klasse all in one followed by a coat or two of their acrylic sealant. MAN. I've never seen such a great shine..

And also, your 951 looks GREAT! all sorts of shiney. great work!

I'm always all for trying new things, it's just actually breaking down and doing it that's my problem, especially when it's mail order. Normally, when I find something I like I stick with it, and this stuff I like. Is your car silver rose? It looks just like my Zermatt Silver one in your avatar.

that's Dad's turbo, (unfortunately not mine) and yes, it's silver rose... PO had it resprayed the same color, and it must have been a maaco job...the nose, parts of the door and parts of the bumper are peeling...

That sucks about the paint, mine has had the nose re-sprayed by the PO but he thinks they didn't put in the flex additive because it chips really easy.

I tried the NXT and liked it, but this stuff is easier to work with and I think the shine is better, at least IMHO.

Meguiars NXT I think is the best wax I've tried. Though no wax comes close to zaino. I applied zaino to my 968 and this is the only stuff I will ever use again, very happy with the results.

I always meant to try Zaino, I just never got around to it. I think this stuff is similar to Zaino and NXT, it's a polymer based wax, so they may be very similar.

I see my fellow "dark 968" folks like the NXT as much as I do. I loved Zymol on my Slate Grey Metallic 944, but the same wax was an absolute horror show on the Midnight Blue Metallic 968. Washed it all off, tried the NXT, and became a convert. I put that stuff on all the cars in the garage now.

Although I DO miss the pina colada smell of the Zymol

Have you tried stuff from Griot's Garage? I use their Best of Show Wax, and many other products, all work great!

i agree with Geoff: Klasse AIO and six layers of Klasse SG. Lasts six months at a time.

I top mine with a couple of layers of S100.
