Meet Vlad. I caught him in my place a few minutes ago. Atfer catching a bug for a nice meal to eat, I set him free.
Opening the contain, I tipped it. He walked out towards the edge and flew about six feet, then turned around and headed straight for my face. A couple inches away, he turned around. I could feel the wind from his wings.
I'll miss little Vlad. I've always liked bats.

Maybe I should get a BATMBLE licens plate?

Why do bats scare you? They're mostly harmless, and they keep the bugs away.
If I wasn't nervous about rabies (and our cats going after him), I would have cleaned out our spare room, laid plactis mats down, put up some branches, and let him live in there. I've always wanted a "bat-atrium" room in my house.

I loooove bats! They help keep the bug population down, which needs to be kept in check, by their natural predators.

When I was camping as a little kid one of them flew into my face - scared the crap out of me. Havent liked the things since. (Although the bridge in Austin, TX where gazillions of them live is pretty cool....from a distance)

That's what I had handly. It's not a CD case though, it a 5-pound 42-guage magnet wire spool container.
