Anyone have a sound clip of what a 944 horn sounds like? The P.O. switched out my steering wheel with a Dino one, and I am fairly certian that he also changed the horn as well. I hope I am right, because the horn on my 86' 944 sounds like a 1950s Ford.

I have an 85.5, and I never really looked, but from the sound I would bet it is 2 tuned horns. Very loud, sounds like very early GM, Cadillac, or olds. Maybe one of yours is disconnected. When I hit the horn it blows away those ****ty little foreign Honda Toyota beep, beep horns.

Yes I havea horn. I was just unsure whether it was stock or not.
I think I forgot to mention how loud it is. The horn can be heard at least half a block away, and in traffic gets everyones attention.
The best part about the horn is that it doesn't math the 944 at all, so no one suspects the guy in the little 944.

I'll try to get a clip this afternoon. Mine kinda goes "hrnnk", with good lows and highs. It is actually 2 horns, called "twin tone horns" in the relay box. Mine is VERY loud as well. I love it.
