buying a 968
well im moving to alaska for a few years and insteed of buying a car that would be practical i decided to go with a 968. but are there any issues different from 944s. i am aware of most the 944 issues. it has 130k six speed, new belt and pump about 2 years ago 15k miles, im not looking for a show car im looking for a decent car that i can dive for a few years and then drop it all in my 924 cgtr project.so body and int dont matter so much to me all i want the inside to have is seats and a stearing wheel

Buy some skinny Boxster 16" rims, (you'll need spacers for the fronts), throw on 4 snow tires and you're good to go. You must use four and not two snows, they are diabolical with only two.
