Your neighbors. My exhaust is too loud with cat and straight through muffler. Then again, you dont drive yours 70+ miles a day - just drift.

Well, the Porsche engineers care, apparently...that's why the factory exhaust sounds so nice.

If you want tasteless noise for no apparent reason, buy a Honduh and throw on a fart can exhaust.

Don't cheapen up a Porsche.

Hell, I have 2 (straight thru) mufflers and a (hi flow) cat, and it's loud enough to the point where I'm almost embarassed to take dates out in the car. The vibration from the exhaust has worked some interior bits loose and I'm getting squeaks and rattles. You can't have a conversation with a passenger unless you're practically yelling.

I'm not complaining...I'm just saying, why the incessant need to delete more parts from your exhaust? I suffer through this for maybe 2 or 3 horsepower. You will see a similar gain (or really, you won't see it or feel it...but you'll sure as hell hear it!).

I just can't imagine how crappy and cheap a 944 would sound with no cat and only one muffler.

I agree- mine's a turbo, but, I have a Bursch w/welded in resonator, SFR rear muffler & I feel the EXACT same way.... it really sucks- if you wanna feel ghetto for the 5HP possible gain, then, jump all over it.... most women I've had in my car did NOT like it & the ones that did were not the type I'd have taken out again.... They can go run w/the F&F crowd w/the boys wearing their pant's falling halfway down their asses for quick-&-easy-accessibilty.... I just don't get the need to draw attention- As a matter of fuct, I wish the noise-ordinaces would be enforced more regularly so I don't have to deal w/it- take a little attention off those of us who actually like the sheer pleasure of driving fast- the last car I went at it with was a WRX, IIRC, & I couldn't even hear my own car.... that's happened several times recently, actually w/various F&F types.....

My Mp3 player/recorder is on the fritz, but I'm working on sound clips as well.

Who could host them once I get them on my system?

You can upload them to your Rennlist webspace or send them to me and I'll put them online.

Go to Roadfly.org and sign up for their email. They give you ~3MB of fast webspace for free. I've been using it for misc uploads for the past 3 years.
