Driver's side mirror glass fell out!
Lost the glass from my driver's side mirror over the weekend. Anyone know if only the glass can be purchased? What sort of adhesive is needed to complete the repair?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Not sure if this makes a difference - but only the glass portion fell out. The plate that it mounts to - which is positioned by the adjustment motor is still in place. There is a gray colored primer/ adhesive/ whatever on that surface. Looks as though the heating wire is also on this surface (not that it has worked since I have owned the car).
So the question remains - is it possible to replace just the glass portion?

Anyone parting out a car with a good driver's side mirror (only need the glass)? I'd be interested in a convex mirror for the navigator's side as well. The flat glass is almost useless.

Sorry, I missed the light orange print....
For $77, that could be the glass and mount. I remember it costing $105 from the dealer so $77 from Paragon sounds right. I don't think they sell just the glass.

There is a guy on ebay who sells just the glass...I see him on there all the time...but I just searched and did not see them. Just search under Porsche mirrors. Make sure you add the s in mirrors or you will miss it. Eventually it will come back up. Pretty reasonable as well.

Thanks for the tip. Now don't anyone jump in and out bid me.

Cant you just have any glass place cut a piece or mirror to fit the drivers side?
And what adhesive is best, given the heating elements?
