Weather report is looking very so-so at the moment. Clouds and sun with scattered showers and thunder showers.

I think I am in regardless. The less who show in my class, the better chance I have. I am now actively searching for bribe votes in the 74-88 911 Class so I will ***** myself to the absolute fullest in order to earn your vote. I will have some stiff competition Im sure, but at least no Speedsters to go up against. Ive put about 30hrs into the car and have about 5 left to do. Just the rubber and windows and another quick vaccuum and Im good to go.

Which 944 guys are gonna be there. Just because half of you have had to sell your rolling stock doesnt mean you now have an excuse to sit around all day in front of the TV eating cheetos. Im going to bring my camera and maybe camcorder and Ill take on the thankless job of providing "coverage" for the Renny.

Im not going to the Fri/Sat stuff. I may be going to James Dean Fest in Indiana tomorrow. Im not doing the drive either.

Friggin state of Ohio wont give me plates until I pass e-check. Illinois plates are now invalid. So my "rolling stock" is destined for parking lot useage only.

Man it was hot today!! But the rain held off and for the most part it was sunny and the weather cooperated as we had hoped. Saw a bunch of the brethren there today: XSBoost, McKenna, Doug & Julie, Jeremy, Dale, cpl others, but it wasnt quite the same without some of the regulars like Pete, Wade, Chris_924S. I didnt see Hoffman and the Nine-Dozen either.

Hopefully all of you can attend Porsches 2 Oxford next month.

Chris, it was good to see you yesterday. I hope you won your class, we stuff the box for you. Harry was there for the entire weekend, the 912 guys went for a drive on Saturday and he participated in the Driving Tour and Show on Sunday. The newly-rebuilt motor seemed to do quite well.

Ron (Fishey) was also there, he worked the Driving Tour with a friend in his M3.....
