I might have another feature I wasn't aware of!

Here is what I might suggest to anyone who wants to play around with this. Don't start with a full alarm/keyless kit unless you have a lot of experience with electronics. Just do the door actuators with 2 relays and a SPDT switch like in the thread above by Red9four4. Source for these parts is as follows: either http://www.12vp.com/item_dlp62w_ind.htm or their distributor:
Audio Options, 1559 West 132nd St., Gardena, CA 90249, phone 310-324-2799 and get the following parts:
Two DLP62W pistol 2-wire door actuators (I paid $2.65 each)
Two relays with sockets: OEM1/RS1 (I paid $2.99 each)
One momentary rocker switch RSM7-2E1 (I paid $2.99)
One point about the connecting rods that come with the actuators. While bending one to make the loop as shown in the article, it snapped. I wound up buying some brass rod at Home Depot and fashioned my own connecting rods (use some heat to avoid snapping). Howard
ps - if you've never taken off your door panels, it is fairly easy: http://www.clarks-garage.com/shop-manual/body-11.htm
I fashioned my own door panel removal tool using a tent stake - but careful use of a screwdriver would probably be fine as well. It is not necessary to disconnect the connectors from the window switches/mirror controller. Just remove the two screws holding the window switch panel and push it through the hole - much easier! As for mounting the rocker switch, a location for the relays and a source for non switched 12 volts, pull out the cubby under the radio by using pressure from two thumbs and yanking.

Jeff, or anyone else, I still have all of these parts in the 88 S that I'm parting out. Drop me a line or PM me and we can talk about pricing and whatever parts that you might need.
