Havent seen them mounted but I am about 99% sure they are going to weigh a ton. Wheels are built to handle a load and a Cayenne is a substantial load. I would love to test fit a set but alas, I dont know anyone with a Cayenne anywhere near me.

Does anyone know of a site that explains what wheels can be used on 944 87 na. I have heard that the offset can be an issue with the different models and years. For instance can I use 951 87 phone dials on an 944 87 na?

Learn what offsets mean and how to use them. A website listing every wheel is unnecessary.
To calculate change in offset when going to different width wheels:
http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/input.html
And yes, 87 951 wheels will fit a 944 no problem.

Interesting link thanks. I was under the imperssion that having wheels in different offset positions could change the handling and also prematurely add wear and tear on certain hardware pieces. I.e a positive offset could actually could wear out bearings and tires prematurely. Is this not true?

I emailed wheel enhancements on this issue, about the 17" cayenne wheels... Here's the reply:
Devon, the 7.5x17" Factory Cayenne wheels weigh approximately 27 pounds each. Please call us at (310) 836-8908 or e-mail us if you have any additional questions.
Thank you, Dave - Wheel Enhancement

I wander what a cup2 weighs. I have a set at the shop so I will drop one on the UPS scale tomorrow. I know they are REAL heavy compared to the 16" Fuchs.
I bet it weighs around 20 lbs minimum.
