I would like to go really bad. Thats going to be this comming weekend right? I keep running into problems with my project like waiting over two months on a j-pipe and chips and finding out today that my tial wont fit without a 2 piece x-over. So unless I get these parts very quick it looks like my 951 will be down for yet another week.

 

Brett, your in good company. I'll be wrenching on my car this weekend so it looks like the run will happen next weekend. Which will prolly work out better because there will be two of us with new goodies to "road test"

Geoff and Hank TIA for the assist this comming weekend With two tranny swaps, a clutch install and turbo swap on the 951 I have my work cut out.

I'll post a "to do" list by FRI evening, if you see one of these projects on your horrizion now is a good time to get a little pre-wrenching in.

Also.. June 26th is Dubs Along the Rockies. I know it is VW's but they are having a autocross
which I am participating in, as well as being a judge for the show.. if anyone is interested you should sign up!

11/12 - GTG to wrench on items in post #17, tell tall tales of running 36psi on pump gas, and revel in 924FORPLAY's recent girlie conquests.
13-17 - replace stuff that got broken during GTG and hope the Porsche gods look kindly upon Daniel and Brett for a most excelent Turbo turnout!
18 - try to break newly installed items with D'town Fun Run
19 - Be a cool Dad or be cool to your Dad
20-24 - TBD install S4 engine

Ok, there may be problems with the LSD swap so I'm shifting focus to the turbo swap/2pc Xover and 3pc Xmember install. Pretty straight forward stuff. I should be able to wrap up last minute stuff (get turbo wrap, clean engine, etc) and start Sat morning.

 

this sucks me or brett haven't been able to show up to any of these get togethers yet because of our cars and plus i live a couple of hours away.

 

I am swamped today.. still unpacking plus need to pick up our grill.
I will have some time tomorrow however and am planning on coming
down for a little while at least. I want to learn as much as possible
as I will probably doing this myself very soon.
