I work as an engineer at an aerospace company, and we sometimes have alot of graphite off fall (scrap) that can be in decent sizes 36"x36" is about the largest I've seen.
Is there any want for small CF parts for 944s? what would you guys like to have?

Hey Dan, how about a nice lip spoiler for the 951/S2 that sandwiches between the lower tray and fascia. The full replacement type bat wing w/ lip spoiler is too large for economical shipping. I would'nt mind a CF rear tailight piece(please no lights) w/ opening for license plate. Something to match the overall shape and smooth out the rear.

Are you serious about making this? We have had too many people ask and never come back with a finished product ( like carbonfiber1). You better be able to produce results if you're here asking.
If you are serious,
944 s2 wing for an N/A 944 (hatch mounting is slightly different)

AznDragon: I don't have an early car to work with, whats the center speaker setup like? A gauge bracket is doable. An A pillar one is not.
Steve: Were the center lights an option, or a turbo thing? My car doesn't have them. That might not be too bad to make. CF isn't a good material to make a chin spoiler out of. ABS would be much better because when you curb it, it will bend and not break.
testarossa: done, please paypal me $650.00 and they will be shipped this weekend. thats $100/letter, plus a $100 lot charge, plus $50 handling fee

OriginalSterm: functional mirrors that cut down the frontal area and weight won't be so pretty, but I might be able to make a bracket to mount currant aftermarket ones to.
Eyal951: Not the best material to use. A CNC'd AL flange w/ alum runners would be better. The CTE differance between graphite and alum is huge, and I suspect the manifold would crack.
pikey: headlight buckets are a definate maybe, and the chevy badges are done as well, please paypal me $800, $100 for the badge, and $700 for disgracing chevy owners everywhere

Stig: paint yours black
Porsche-o-phile: why graphite? Its doable, but at .003" per ply, thats alot of work to get what .25". I think Alum is a better option, and why the ones on the market are so spendy, I dunno.
Wes: email me your solid model ( sales@americanautosport.com . . . website I started before I got a real job). I have SW2003 (and maybe 2005) at home as well as Wildfire here at work.
Again, bodywork type things are hard to do, and that means expensive, but if you guys can come up with simple (2D) things, they can be had for next to nothing.
