Default getting my new windshield today!

Yeah.... mine cracked on a canyon run... So...new one en route. scheduled at 2:00 PM and it's gonna cost $178.60

I'm friggin excited! and also, the windshield currently on there, whenever I do any sort of turn that flexes the body, I just hear a sharp "crack!" and I notice it's grown a little...So....yay!

does your 924 have a rubber gasket around the windshield or is it like the early 944?

I've a 1987 924S... it's the old style... Glass is now installed, and I have one thing to say...

GOOD FREAKIN GOD THAT THING IS CLEAR!!!! I'm unable to tell there is a windshield there at all. I used to be able to tell it was there by all the little spots that'd show up when heading towards the sun, but nope. that's gone.

Yeah, new windshields are sweet. When my dad bought his car, I was baffled at the fact that you cant even tell that the windshields are there!
