Default Would it be worth checking out?

I was looking at autotrader online today and found an 87 924S for sale in my town. She's got 122,000 miles, new brakes, tires, battery, and timing belt. White exterior, black interior, 5spd. The owner wants 3600. Does it sound like something worth checking out, and does the price seem reasonable? If you guys think I should give it a look, I'll do it and get more info. Thanks.

PM Chris924s. He's in OH (although I don't know how far in relation to you) and has owned a 924 since God was an infant. He can help you out.

944_S_Type, I'll get back to you on your car after I check this 924, cause yours sounds pretty nice.

Anyone know of a good, reputable shop in or around Toledo, OH that I could take the car to for a PPI if I need to? Thanks.

Keep in mind that, if I buy the 928 s4 next week, I will be selling my 88 924s. Find the other thread with pics and info. $4500'ish, and can also include the new MSD igniton, coil, plug wires, seats, stainless sills, dash topper, etc that I just bought for a little more. I'm in Indiana, Indianapolis area.

Toledo?? Looks as though rennmech.com is down (huh??) Maybe PM Micah..

Wes or Manning.. is that too far for you? I dont know anyone personally who can do a thorough PPI up there- maybe one of the NW Ohio guys will chime in.

Anyone in NW Ohio/SW Michigan know of a good place that could do a PPI on this car? Anybody?

Well anyway, when I go to check the car out, are there any common 924S problems that I should be on the lookout for?
