why would you advertise the auction and make even MORE people bid against you?

(unless you are the seller, you sneaky dog, you!)

out of curiousity: How would you know if these shocks were still good? There is no indication of thier age on the ebay ad.. I mean don't shocks wear out after a while? I'm thinking I would rather spend $1700 on a brand new set from Paragon that will last me 10 year at least, than $600-1000 on a set that might last me 5 years...

I love the auctions where the seller doesnt use the proper title so it makes the listing almost impossible to bring up in a search unless you fluke out. I bought a set of coilovers for one of my other cars that way.

Rich - Bilstein will revalve them (perfectly for your set of street/track springs) for a reasonable amount of money.
These are not disposable - the front pistons are about 2 inches thick!

Yea -- I see Sam all over eBay, too. He's definitely addicted to eBay!

I drive by their warhouse all the time. In fact driving by it today on the way to the hospital.

I have thought many times of raiding the dumpster to see what I could find.

The ad doesn't specify the spring rate, the diameter of the springs, or the valving specs. How could the bids get up to that much without those (important) specifications listed?
