bluecamaro, here's the original window sticker (one of the ONLY pieces of documentations the PO left me) that shows the paint color. I don't know much of anything about Porsche paintcodes myself, so I was just reading off this document.
I think it's an excellent exterior color as well. Very subtle, very . . . below the radar, if you will.![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
amjf088 - cam chain tensioner is on the list! i didn't order one up front from paragon because just looking at the price tag burns my eyes! but we'll spare no expense if the Porsche demands it.

heres the paint code sheet I was refering to: http://www.clarks-garage.com/shop-manual/body-02.htm#89 If you don't have the code card that came with the owners manual, there is a sticker on the very back panel of the car, under/ next to the hatch latches, behind the carpet. Mine said: L M5P which is dove blue according to the clark's garage site.

btw, are you changing out the rollers/idlers as well? I just did my belts/ waterpump / tensioner / and chain. The bearings in the old rollers were pretty loose after 90K If you do the chain as well, it wasn't so bad as long as you are careful to maintain the cam timing.

bleucamaro,
i got the whole belt/roller kit from paragon. and a rebuilt water pump. and a cam chain tensioner pad from zims. my tensioner unit and chain look to be in very good condition, but the upper pad had a small hairline fracture in it, so it has to go.
i'll have to check out the paint code and get back to you on that.
btw - nice rally avatar!
