Why not put 2 944 badges and have yourself a 928?

Heathen! To the 928 forum with you!

Such heresy. . . A 944 is NOT half of a 928! The 944 does what a 928 can - only better and with half the stuff to go wrong. Ergo, it's a testimony to German efficiency.

What are you guys talking about!?!?!?

Thats the best idea ive ever heard! Why spend the money to upgrade to a turbo, when you can put the emblem on there and get nearly the same effect. I think im going to order 10 or 20 of those emblems, both in silver and black, so I can stick them all over my car. People will see that i have a "turbo" instead of a "944" and know that the car has 60 more horse power over stock, and does 0-60 in under 6 seconds.

Since the brake booster is kind of round and has hoses coming out of it you can also write "K-26" on it with a Sharpie for that extra special something under the hood.

Guido,

Just remember, if you go ahead and do this, you'll have to upgrade your drivetrain and brakes to 951 spec as well. The 944na just can't handle all the extra power of a Turbo badge...

Let's also get the SC from the carreraSC's and use those for supercharger...

Take a look at Guido's posts since he's joined. They've all been related to appearance upgrades and "more power for the NA". I've already talked to him on some other posts in Spanish, he's from Costa Rica. I get the feeling he has no interest in learning about these cars, he just wants them to look good and be faster.
I don't think he understands how to fit in here.

I think this guy is screwing with us. Think about it. Any jackass who wants to remove the 944 N/a emblem is just going to move "How to remove 944 emblem". He knows by throwing AND PUT A TURBO ONE onto the thread name, its going to attract all of our attention. His previous posts are further evidence. It sounds like its a pretty decently educated person trying to pull a joke on us.
